CfA Hosts Lab Day in Philly

CfA Philadelphia

Code for America Philadelphia is hosting an event this Friday at Indy Hall in Philly.

Lab Day is a chance to get together with the CfA Philly team, developers and civic hackers to share ideas and work on projects to make Philadelphia a better place. If you haven’t yet met the CfA Philly team, or if you want to get involved in helping support the CfA effort, this is a great event to attend.

Plus there will be food and drink provided by my company, Tropo. You bring your laptop and your ideas, we’ll bring the calories.

So if you have some time tomorrow, and you feel like hacking on an open government project, or just want to meet a dedicated bunch of people working to make their city better, come join the fun.

Hope to see you there.

About Me

I am the former Chief Data Officer for the City of Philadelphia. I also served as Director of Government Relations at Code for America, and as Director of the State of Delaware’s Government Information Center. For about six years, I served in the General Services Administration’s Technology Transformation Services (TTS), and helped pioneer their work with state and local governments. I also led platform evangelism efforts for TTS’ cloud platform, which supports over 30 critical federal agency systems.
